Andrew McDermott, founder of AMC Driving Solutions

I founded AMC Driving Solutions in 1999, operating as as a driving instructor in the Middlesbrough and Stokesley area. In 2009 I trained with AA Drive Tech to work as an on road trainer for the National Driver Alertness Course and in 2012 I gained my City And Guilds preparation to teach in the life long learning sector (PTTLS) which qualified me to present the National Speed Awareness Course for AA Drivetech at venues in Northumbria and North Yorkshire, which I still do to the present day.

In September 2013 I added the Fleet Trainer qualification to my other credentials and have been providing fleet training for organisations such as National Grid, Lucite International and Azco Nobel ever since. In 2016, I successfully completed my NDORS assessment for NSAC, NDAC and D4C and am now on the NDORS National Register for these courses. I am also a qualified B + E trainer.
